Old School Runescape Mining Guild Expansion
By the time you are reading this the Mining Guild expansion in Old School Runescape will have been live for a little while. We have noticed that some people who have come here to buy OSRS Gold have been very excited and we wanted to talk a little bit about it today.
The first thing to note is that there is a free to play area and a members area. Free to play has 2 Adamantite and 4 Iron rocks and two new shops with one selling ores and the other pickaxes. The member’s area will see all rocks have a halved respawn timer which is great for stockpiling. You also get a plus 7 boost to your mining.
One of the biggest things about this expansion though is the new mineral that has been added and that is Amethyst which has nothing to do with the Steven Universe character in case you were wondering.
Amethyst will require you to have 92 mining, but there is some really cool stuff that you can do with it. You can make all kinds of cool items such as Amethyst Bolt Tips, Amethyst Arrow Tips, and Amethyst Javelin Tips. There is also a pair of standard mining gloves and superior mining gloves to be had.
Many people in the 2007RunescapeGold.com office are very excited by this new expansion and feel that the Amethyst weapons are really cool. We are excited to see what other Amethyst weapons may be coming in the future.
